excellent, this thing works fast, u just need the drivers. the program is not needed, and it's goodWith the USB WiFi, it's awesome, because you can put it on the front or back of the computer, and I get like 115 Mbps or something like thatI always thought I was going to use a cable from my router (other room), to my PC, but there's no need for that
Piece of junk. This router constantly stopped working, cut in and out. stopped altogether over and over again. I do not recomend it.
This is being used to stream video (Neflix, etc). I use a Trendnet Range extender, and I am getting pretty consistent 270MB/s out of the rated 300MB/s. The extender is on the same floor, so I guess I was expecting perfection. to my bedroom PC, so I can't really deal with a flaky connection. This is good 90% of the time, and I don't think I'd get much better until the next rev of 802.11x
This adapter boosted the speed of transmission from 54 to 130 Mbps. Exceeded expectations. I wasn't sure I'd use it or need it, but it makes a huge difference.
I give these 10 stars. I have bought three (3) of these TEW-624UB and two of TEW-637AP because they have me very happy with these products I can"t rate them high enough. A five star rating is way to low for what these products have done for my wireless home network. Thomas T. Perry
